Everest Poker is serious about protecting minors with our 18+ policy. This poker room was founded on a genuine love of the game, which is why we’re committed to providing you with a safe and positive place to play. Despite our best efforts, we realize a small percentage of players will attempt to create accounts and use the Everest Poker software while they are still underage.

Any players who provide inaccurate information regarding their age are subject to forfeited balance.

The Measures Everest Takes

Responsible marketing practices. Everest Poker does not target underage players with any of our marketing and promotional campaigns. We also add preventive messaging regarding our 18+ policy to all communications with players, such as emails and print ads.  Attracting underage persons to our online poker room and community is not and will never be our goal.

We screen all players. Several steps within our sign up process protect against underage use:

• Every player must check a box indicating they are 18 years or older when creating an Everest Poker account. This ensures all players are aware of our policy.
• Everest Poker asks for the name, birth date and address of each new player to help confirm whether or not he or she is at least 18 years old. 
• When players create accounts, they must send us proof of their identity and age. We verify this information and void the accounts of anyone who does not comply. Players must continue to enter their date of birth every time they log in to our software.
  
  

The Measures You Can Take

Report underage use. If you are aware of any person under the age of 18 using the Everest Poker software, please contact us. We have the ability to investigate and take the appropriate actions on the players’ accounts if these claims turn out to be true. Any reports of this nature are kept confidential. We appreciate your help in this initiative.

Safeguard against unauthorized use of your account. Whenever possible, enable the password control on your computer. Precautions like this are especially important with teenagers and children in the home. Keep your Everest Poker Login Name and password private. If you are concerned that someone might access your account without your permission, do not allow the Everest Poker software to remember your Login Name or password.
